Maui News has a distinct slant, often tailoring their "news" to favor their advertisers. They've discontinued the ability to comment on their articles in part because their poor moderation allowed the comments to become personal attacks with inappropriate content.
Their poor investigative reporting gives the impression that they simply reprint corporate press releases. When their online feedback started pointing out their glaring omissions, feedback was discontinued.
This blog gives you a chance to correct the record and to express your opinion.

At last! I've despised this "happy-happy" fish-wrap of a newspaper since I got here in '92. Why is there no other newspaper on this island?
